Kissy Square - Update 1.0.1 to 1.0.3

Made some updates of Kissy Square. From improving small stuffs to change the difficulty of the game. The game was too difficult, after several feedbacks and looking at the statistic of the highscore, I decided to lower the difficulty by increasing the size of the squares which will keep shrinking each 4 kisses.

Update 1.0.1 (Sept 9th, 2015)
  • Blind Kisses score will be added if the value is at least 1.
  • Revised medal "Love is Blind" and "Blind Kiss"'s description. 
  • Color sliders has been improved to make it easier to set the value to 0.

Update 1.0.2 (Sept 10th, 2015)
  • Difficulty has been reduced, by adding new mechanism: Game starts with 24x24 pixels square. Each score which dividable by 4, the squares'size will be reduced until 12x12 pixels square. After several feedbacks and looking the statistic of the score, I have decided to reduce the difficulty. I apologize for those who have gotten the hard medal before the update, but look at the bright side, you can brag more for getting the badge before the update with such harder difficulty ;).
  • Removed unused assets (which was used only in Runny Square).

Update 1.0.3 (Sept 11th, 2015)
  • A message will appear if Blind Kiss mode is activated (All colors are R:0, G:0, B:0).

Yay, Featured! (Including Featured that I was Lazy to Write That Time)

Good news! Several hours after Kissy Square was published in NG, it was already featured in Featured Games! Thank you very much Newgrounds and those who played the game!

My previous game, Runny Square was also featured in July. I was lazy to write something that time, but fortunately Newgrounds store games that was featured in the past.

I apologize if there were some parts of the game that wasn't satisfying. I will try to make more improvement for future games, perhaps using the same gameplay but with more variant especially designing the gameplay of those 2 games took more times than programming it.

Also, I didn't invest much time to study references when I was very busy in the past especially college stuffs (which is why there were a lot of very short pdf game in the past especially they were to participate in 1GAM which I should make a game a month).

Runny Square - Update: 1.0.4

Made an update 1.0.4 for Runny Square. Mostly focused on fixing small typos, restructuing codes for managing the api better, etc:

Title screen of the game (Don't mind the version text, in the game it was already updated :p)
  • Fixed medal name "Crasbed Before Starting" typo into "Crashed Before Starting".
  • Medal reward for scoring will be rewarded after crashed. The previous was the moment when reaching certain score which cause distraction/disturb concentration.
  • Added some codes to store and manage api better.
  • Changed "?" button link into NG's profile instead blog.
